Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using GiveawayHub you agree to it. Last updated: July 2026.

What we collect

• Account data — username, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), and optional profile details like avatar, banner, birthdate, and bio.
• Activity data — tickets earned and spent, tasks and quizzes completed, giveaways entered, wins, follows, and referrals.
• Technical & anti-fraud data — IP address, browser/device information, and a device fingerprint. We use these to keep draws fair, detect duplicate accounts, and secure your login.
• Payment data — if you buy an optional support plan, we store the plan, amount, method, a masked wallet number, and the gateway reference. We do not store full wallet numbers or card details; payments are processed by the payment provider.
• Communications — support tickets and messages you send us.

Why we use it

To run your account and the giveaways, pick and verify winners fairly, deliver prizes, process optional payments, prevent fraud and multi-accounting, provide support, and send you service and (if you opt in) giveaway emails.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share only what's needed with service providers who help us operate — for example our email sender, payment gateway, and (if you connect it) Discord for role syncing. We may disclose data where legally required.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions, security (CSRF), and remembering preferences like your theme. These are required for the site to work.

Your choices & rights

• Email preferences — control giveaway and marketing emails in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any such email. Account & security emails are always sent.
• Access & deletion — request a copy of your data or account deletion from the “Your data & account” section of Settings; our team handles these by hand.
• Sessions — see and sign out the devices your account is open on in Settings.

Data retention & security

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and anti-fraud purposes. Passwords are hashed, payments are tokenised, and access is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Minors

GiveawayHub is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors — see our Terms & Rules. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
